Fiber
My fiber work is inspired by elements from the natural world, fantasy and ancestry. The work includes insects, arachnids, woodland or desert animals, mushrooms, geodes and crystals, wearable pieces, fiber fantasy creatures, and portraits. Please note that some of the photos below are from the table. For 2026, I will be moving older works to an archive and will provide a link to those pieces soon.
Other subjects that I am working on are wet felted beaded wool necklaces and pendants, abstract and landscape parintings. For current needle felt work on the table, click on the Instagram link here.
Materials used include: alpaca fiber, Corriedale and Merino wool, ox, Angoram and camel fiber, Tussah and bamboo silk, vintage and fine cut glass beads, recycled copper wire, wood and semi-precious stones.
